...you should send out, today, the best work you are capable of doing today. Of course you'll do better a year from now. But a year from now you should be writing the story that you care about and believe in at that time--not reworking this year's story.
Bryan Singer was recently speaking at a college in Hawaii where he said that he has been approached to direct the next X-MEN movie, but he says he turned it down because he wouldn't have time for it.
He also said while he wasn't interested in X4, he would be interested in reading the WOLVERINE script.
This brings up two interesting points:
1) There WILL be another X-MEN movie, apparently. To all those who said 3 was the last ... well, here y'go.
2) Why did the studio ask Singer and not Ratner? Is Ratner still on board? If so, how does he feel about the studio going back to Singer? And if he's not doing the movie, then why?
