...you should send out, today, the best work you are capable of doing today. Of course you'll do better a year from now. But a year from now you should be writing the story that you care about and believe in at that time--not reworking this year's story.

Richard Pulfer, co-writer of "Hector!". This is my project for Small Press Idol.

The comic is called "Pierced", focusing on a modern day "Boo Radley" Garth Percy who suddenly becomes entangled between the boundries of fact and fiction as the imaginations of several children thrust Percy into a terrifying new reality as Pierced, a vicious character spun out of urban legend and Midwestern myth. As several of the same children begin vanishing, Garth must piece together the mystery of the disappearances, or risk being eclisped by the legend which replaced his life.

You can check out the full details on "Pierced" right here. If you want to vote, register for the forums and then reply the project thread. Should you have any trouble registering, e-mail Ian@dimestoreproductions.com.

As always, any comments and criticism is welcome.
