On top of old Holywood Hill, in a secret laboratory, Professor Berek and Count Lewis were in their mythical glory.
Professor Berek: "Six drops of essence of tension, five drops of mythic sauce." Count Lewis: "When the stirring's done, may I lick the spoon?" Professor Berek: "Of Course, Ha ha, of course; Now for the tincture of structure, but I must use only a touch; For without a touch of structure it might confuse me, oops, too much; Better hold your breath it's starting to tick." Count Lewis: "Better hold my hand I'm feeling sick!" Story: "Hello Daddy!" Professor Berek: "What have I done?" Story: "I'm Story, your brand new son!"
There is a simpler way to read my thoughts on writing and to get an inside look into my creative process as my first comics work comes ever-closer to being published.
Each Wednesday on www.brokenfrontier.com you can read my column The Story Factory. The column reflects on the work of people like Campbell, Volger, McKee and ... Berek-Lewis! Don't miss it.
