If you have made mistakes, even serious ones, there is always another chance for you. What we call failure is not the falling down, but the staying down.

A new Monday means a new column. This week we serve two masters: I introduce readers to another one of my new projects, Across the Universe, while explaining the thought process behind its creation.

And I may or may not rag on Scott Bakula.

You have such a fine way of making it seem easy, Drew. Across the Universe is a terrific concept. It's fascinating to get a glimpse behind the scenes into your creative process.

Nice column this week. And nice last line; I can see you like your columns with all of the above too. And thank you for saying "Ray Guns". I keep repeating it in my head, and it gives me a miniature thrill each time.

For anyone wondering about this week's column... I've been a little busy with Double Steak Day (google if you need to know) and fine-tuning some pitches. I hope to have a column up sometime soon, but I'm not sure exactly when with the holiday, etc. Soon, soon!
