We could also at times feature established writers (i.e. Joe Casey, Brian K, Vaughan, Warren Ellis), spotlight their new work and some of their career highlights, do an interview and maybe have them be a guest columnist for a month...

My suggestion would be some hosted writer forums right here on this messageboard, like you see on Image or even Digital Webbing.

For instance, Drew Melbourne doesn't have a forum on his website, but he could have a forum link that would lead to a hosted forum here where people/readers can specifically discuss his work. His site would send traffic here and vice versa. (Drew's just an example, obviously, for all I know he might not want a forum at all, hosted or otherwise)

Other writers might have forums on their sites, but trafic may not be what they'd like, by having a hosted forum here, there can again be that traffic trade which could hopefully boost the visibility of both the writers and Scryptic.

I think this is a fine idea, Caleb.

I heartily endorse this notion, or something along these lines.

What I'd like to see and be involved in is interviews with writers that are really focused on the craft, perhaps even looking at specific examples in their recent work and asking them to talk about how they handled particular scenes, panel and page transitions, etc.
