If you have made mistakes, even serious ones, there is always another chance for you. What we call failure is not the falling down, but the staying down.
As you can see, Jeff has the early stages of the new Scryptic Studios up and running.
On this new site, you can login to the site and the forum all with one login (to the left of this message).
I *think* Jeff's working on migrating all of the user accounts over to this new site, so if you can't login, please wait a few days to see if he get that's done.
You CAN register for a new account if you'd like, but there may be no need to do so.
I'm not sure what other goodies are on the way, but I'm certain Scryptic could ALWAYS use contributers - people willing to post news, search for research links or scripts, or one of a hundred other things.
If you'd like to be a part of Scryptic, to help us grow again into the BEST site for writers, contact Jeff Stevenson!
Enjoy the new site, and please forgive the mess, as I believe Jeff is still putting it all together.

I tried, but the old forums use a different encryption algorithm than the current site... so I can't just copy the encrypted values for the passwords over to here. I could automate the user creation a bit to transfer user accounts over, but then I'd need to create random passwords for everyone and email everyone to let them know what those passwords are (and that could take awhile).
So unfortunately, everyone will need to re-register with the new site. Hopefully, I can get some new features here at the site that'll make it worth everyone's time.
