...you should send out, today, the best work you are capable of doing today. Of course you'll do better a year from now. But a year from now you should be writing the story that you care about and believe in at that time--not reworking this year's story.
Drew Melbourne's THINK LIKE TOMORROW
Posted: 2006/11/12 14:31
This is the official Think Like Tomorrow thread. The first column of "volume two" should be up shortly, and the plan is to have a new column ready every Monday.
We'll see how long that lasts!
(And a quick side note: The old TLT columns have a lot of links in them - linking from one column to another - and I'm aware that some of those links are broken since moving over to the new site. Once I have my own column running, and some other new columnists up to speed, I'll go back and update those links.)

I was trying to figure out a way to programmatically change those, but it isn't easy (sorry about that). I'll edit some as I find them (after I get all the old column articles up). If you need to know which links lead to which specific article though, just let me know, and I can look it up in the old database.

As a note, mostly to myself, I've gone back over the first 10 columns of Think Like Tomorrow, Volume 1 and re-edited them to include up-to-date links and to remove any wonky formatting from the site migration.
I've also added links to the TLT archive and this thread.

Drew, I have a plug-in for the site software that would allow you to add a little bit of code to the end of your articles for posting comments on specific articles. I haven't tested it yet, but I believe it'll automatically create a thread here in the forum for the article. If you want to give it a shot on some of the newer articles coming up, just let me know, and I'll get it rolled into the system.
