Well, my name is finally printed in a comic book, I’m so excited! Last Wednesdays releases included Headlocked: Work of Art by Michael Kingston with art by Randy Valiente and colors by Jessika Gravel. Headlocked is a Markosia title under the Visionary imprint. On the inside cover is the Visionary masthead and the very last entry is Traffic and Logistics: Trey Wickwire. Yea! Now since I’ve left Visionary and joined Orang Utan, this will be the one an only Visionary title with my name in the masthead so everyone run out and get a copy! Oh, and if you need to know more about the story I guess I can fill you in on that too.
Headlocked is about a guy who’s dream is to become a professional wrestler and this double sized issues follows his path towards making his dream a reality. Mike’s writing is superb and teamed with Randy and Jessika the overall package is pretty spectacular. So, even though I know you’re lining up to pay $4 just to see my name in print, you get to read a fine story as well. Be careful though, after reading it you will want to go out and buy one of those Mexican wrestling masks!
