Hey all. I was elcomico from the previous incarnation of the forum. Hello again!
I was wondering how the scryp crew was doing with nanowrimo (those of you who elected to do it).
My word count is currently pulling up to 8000. My story is not as good quality as I hoped, and I attribute that to a significant lack in outlining beforehand. Nonetheless, I am generating a significant amount of creative ideas and characters, and that is always handy to have in one's back pocket.
How are you all doing?

I have a little over 2200 words right now, but I'll be putting in another hour later tonight when I can (I also need to get some scripts off to my artist and work on an article).
Good luck with it... keep us up-to-date on your progress. And any other Scryptic folks out there participating in National Novel Writing Month, feel free to chime in and lean on each other for support this month. If you're not signed up for NaNoWriMo, there's still time to sign up and get rolling.

My bad for not checking all the forums before posting.
So how is it going for you, Trey? I am currently weighing in at 12001 words exactly, and this is like ecstasy for me. Never before have I been able to be so entertained by my own characters.

I have a four year old, so there is no way to have the amount of consentrated time for this. I have several friends participating and I route them on. Now I will route for you too!
