Belgian author Georges Simenon would write as much as 60-80 pages per day. There was a period in his life when he finished a novel, on average, every 11 days. He died having written 450 novels and short story collections. Not only that, but he wrote early in the mornings so he cold have his days free and managed to live a full, well-travelled life. His works have been adapted into over 150 films or TV episodes, including the currently-shooting Man From London. In 1966 he was given the Grand Master Award by the Mystery Writers of America, and in 2005 he was nominated for The Greatest Belgian.

Wow.

Ha! That's nothing.

I finish a novel, on average, every week. But then, I'm a fast reader

Well, novels are really nice and stuff, but even I wrote way more comic than that guy.
But it's inspiring to know that he never gave up, even though he nevere really made it to the top.

And, yeah, that's the shock talking. More than 450 novels?
