Writers, if you could draw....
Posted: 2008/03/13 11:15
OK I tried asking this question someplace else but the thread just keeps on getting derailed. But what I want to know is if you- a writer- could draw how would that change your creative process?

Would you draw your own book?

If so, would that take you away from writing?

Would you just design the characters and settings and still give that to another artist to do?
You could still write and draw while someone else does the time-consuming work.

Would you still write full scripts?

Yes? No? Sometimes? Sometimes just layout the easy stuff?

I really want to open up a discussion about this since I'm both a writer and artist. I'm really trying to find my method of attacking a story. This discussion might lead me to find a very effective method to doing my book.

Or not.

Either way I'd like to hear what people have to say.
