Hello All,
I need your votes in Round 2 of the Small Press Idol contest. Voting ends May 13th!
Wannabez is about a bunch of random people who mistake some bizarre coincidences for super powers. It's a light-hearted comedy superhero tale, but it's much more than a spoof. Story by me, art by Scott D. M. Simmons, and cover colors by Ross Hughes!
The winner of SPI ’07 gets a 4-issue mini-series published, a package from Blue Line Pro and an animated game! Those advancing to Round 3 will have guaranteed publishing of a 12-page tale in an anthology!

Thank you to all of you who voted for Wannabez last round. We are now in some stiff competition and only have FIVE DAYS of voting left!

The winner of SPI ’07 gets a 4-issue mini-series published and other great prizes! Those advancing to Round 4 will have their #0 issue printed as its own comic!

Here are the same pages above only with some corrections made to the pencils, inks, letters and dialogue! And there's also a taste of what the project will look like in grayscales.

Well, Wannabez didn't make it to the next round of the Small Press Idol contest, but we did gain a cover spot in the Mysterious Visions anthology. So, Wannabez #0 will be on the cover and inside Mysterious Visions #5 in September from Dimestore Productions!
Totem, the other project I lettered in the competition, will be on the cover and inside issue #10 next February as it stands right now.
