David Hopkins is a comic book writer and essayist, whose work includes Karma Incorporated, Emily Edison, an adaptation of Antigone, and regular contributions to the Smart Pop Series from BenBella Books. David was recognized in the Dallas Observer's Best Of 2006 as "Best Local Comic Book Writer." He produces and co-hosts Fanboy Radio's monthly Indie Show, broadcasting from KTCU 88.7 FM. David teaches English and Creative Writing at Martin High School. David serves as a member of the advisory board for La Reunion. He is most proud of his wife Melissa who skates for the Dallas Derby Devils.
